I don't think anyone can be as bad as the non-English speaking cowboy we have now.

I can't imagine anybody worse than Dubya... Until I see his supporters... You know who I mean, the people who write for the newspapers or FOX NEWS and say "I believe we should amend the constitution to allow this man another 4 years"
The last time we had corruption in office of this magnitude, Nixon resigned. This time, Congress turns it's head and pretends he's doing a wonderful job. We ELECTED these people... then we RE-ELECTED them.
You want a better government? RE-ELECT NOBODY!!!
Send a message Your Congressman in Washington that "You work for us. We do not like the job you've done, Bush should have been impeached long ago. Now get out!" I don't care if that means you are voting against your party. I will have to, and will, because he has failed to do what needs to be done.
Read the constitution. Congress has the real power in the government, they need to us it and real in the Texas Oil Billionaire who lied to us all and started a war to make himself richer.
Then send in the troops in Iraq... no peace keeping... Pull out all the stops, call up -everybody-, kick some butt, then find Bin Ladan, and come home as soon as it's done. Korea and Vietnam should have taught you that fighting a limited war like this is suicide.

Since Kennedy, no matter who is president, the country turns on them in a hurry. Poor guys! I find it amazing that anyone even bothers to run for the office any more.
I would not put myself thru that.
So, whoever the prez is, they too will be a piece of crap before their term is up. That is unless they are assassinated.....for some reason, they will be a hero even if they were the lousiest president in history.

I think it's entirely possible that our next President could be worse than Bush, since I think he is doing a fine job. He's not perfect though, so of course there is always room for improvement, even W would tell you that.

Of course. That's why it P's me off to hear people call him a Nazi and such. What if someone got in who really WAS a Nazi? Then they will have spent so much energy crying wolf that even fewer people will listen.
But the economy is fine, unemployment is as low as it can really go, housing starts have only recently begun to cool off, taxes are reasonable, the air and water are clean ... I don't understand what all these Bush-hating liberals are b!tching about.
Oh, yeah I do. It's becaue THEIR guy (or gal) isn't in the White House. Boo-F'ing-Hoo!

No, I don't think we could possible elect another president as bad as George W.
Even if a Republican wins in 2008, it will have to be a more moderate Republican. Bush has turned America off from uber-conservatives for the time being.
McCain or Guiliani are probably the most likely to win on the Republican ticket, and they are both a whole lot better than Bush.

Oh yes, but lets hope we don't elect someone with a weakness for women, alcohol or has some other known personal problem. To carry the burden of the president they need to be RELATIVELY free of personal problems. Healthy physically and emotionally.

I guess you're too young to remember Jimmy Carter.
He might be a good man when it comes to humanitarian efforts these days, but he was a LOUSY president.
