The whole U.N. is!

2006-09-05 10:52:03 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

The U.N. is fast become the world government. That to me is a scary thought. As for a U.N. security council who are they going to make secure? Every country's Representative seeks for their country's benefit there is no such thing as Unity in the U.N.

not at all, the UN was formed after the WWII to ensure that citizens of this world would have laws to follow and rules as well and they would ensure that no one would take advantage of others. Unfortunately who has the power or the creators of the UN are those who claim to be the world saviors and they want to solve every single problem on their own ways, think about it and just remember if that UN wouldn't exist now there would be more chaos in this world...unfortunately I read some other people's comments here and they seem not to have an idea of the world's history they need to be educated and learn more about nowadays is easy just to point out or singled out one person in general but the truth is that it takes more than that and more education as well...if you want to know more go back in time and study all the wars and its reasons and what were the outcome and the impact on us

A better question is ...

... Was the U.N. security council ever not a waste of time?

The main problem with the council is the veto power each member has get rid of that power and a major road block is gone . The council would work far more decisively then.

Honestly speaking, as a former peacekeeper I would say : a clear Yes.
This organization has wasted Billions of taxpayers money
worldwide, they have no powers, can't enforce any resolution
that isn't sanctioned by the U.S. (to say it blunt - Israel)
A lady's club would have achieved more in diplomacy than
the whole U.N..
A poorly organized bunch of top salary earners, who have nothing
they know better than beating foam and creating bubbles.

Yes: WHY? Well you have on one side China and Russia on the Other the US. We obviously don't agree on how the world should be. They VETO each other at every turn. And when they actually do pass a resolution its So weak and is Never enforced there basically useless. Iran will be a MAJOR Hurdle for the world. The UN is ALLREADY at a stale mate. China and Russia who have BILLIONS invested in Iran on one side and the US on the other. Watch and see how this Mess unfolds. It's gonna get UGLY and will all be the ones to suffer.

Not only is the security council a joke, the entire UN in general is completely irrelevant.

In theory, its a logical solution. In reality it has been entirely ineffective and corrupt. It needs an entire reorganization.

Can we declare a regime change i the UN? joking...... Not really.

Complete and total waste. There has not been a Secretary General of the UN that was not a joke in years, and they basically want our money and our bodies to enforce their rulings

If you are from USA read UN's Agenda 21. UN is our enemy that absolutely hates US sovereignty. I would imagine that gawd awful CFR likes the UN and perhaps nobles and blue bloods do too.
BTW 173 wars and counting. UN sanctions are a happy, happy political feel good atrocities against humanity.

It's not only a waste of time I feel it's actually a danger by virtue of preventing action that needs to be taken which some (example: Iran) use to continue their activities.
