This is a question remember. I didn't suggest a liberal and I'm not saying I know. If i did I would not have asked for others opinions. Please, before you go on your elitist rampages try reading the question. You don't know my political agenda so please don't think you do.

I am a conservative and I have my doubts about his ability. However, many people have much more info than I do and I trust them to make that decision.

Bring in a fresh new defense secretary who may have a new idea. Rumsfeld is incompetent and also old to handle one of the hardest jobs in the Bush administration.

Its hard to say. The liberals jump on the band wagon and talk when they dont know anymore than the rest of us.
There are many military leaders that support him.
Personally I dont like him but that doesnt mean much. He is a polarizing force, thats for sure. Ive heard Generals lean both ways. My guess is.......Maybe.

Yes. Plain and simple answer to your question. As to the "why" part...is incompetent, irrational, misleading, a liar, never been in a war so how can he suggest anything, thinks he's invincible, do I need to go on?

frankly, i wonder how the whole Bush administration sleeps at night, knowing that the tell the American people lies, lies, and more lies. How can they live with themselves knowing young people and innocent Iraqi people are dying every day because of a war that isn't necessary.
