Unfortunately, Paris Hilton is representative of a large segment of American society that is self-absorbed, obsessed with their own self-gratification, and absolutely insensitive to the needs of those people who live with less. Greed, wealth, selfishness, and arrogance has overtaken much of America's most "successful" people (mostly those who judge their success only by how much money and things they have).
