Geo W Bush is president because he gained enough electoral votes through the electoral college in both 2000 and 2004. The electoral votes are nominally a representation of the popular vote, per state and not as a one person one vote democracy.
As an individual person, I do not know Geo W Bush. He might be the kind of guy you would have a beer with after a day of golf or he could be a raving wife beating serial killer. As a figurehead he often comes off as less than polished, some think its down to earth and folksy and some think its because he is not playing with a full deck.
However, as President he influences public policy and discourse. His policies and discourse are seen by many as by-passing institutions that keep political power in check. I can't say I disagree with these sentiments. As a leader and head of state, I disagree with him on most issues that he states publicly (though I am not a Democrat nor do I consider myself on the "left" of the political spectrum).
I do not think we should hate the man, but we need to keep a keen eye on his policies.

He became president 1st time by default. Remember the Florida vote scandal? And Al Gore did'nt challenge. Jeb Bush is Pres. Bush's Bro. And Governor of Florida and also, very good friend of then Fla. Secretary of State.Which by the way immediately moved on to a high paying federal job that she can't be voted out of. They say, that crime does'nt pay(and it don't).But, fixing election ballots apparently does. The 2nd. time around "They say" he actually did win. I'm not even so sure about that. No, i don't hate Bush or anybody else for that fact.I just don't think that he has done a very good job.

President Bush has been elected twice, legally within the powers of the Constitution. He is following the responsibilities of the office of president the best that he can. To hate him is to demean the constitution and the people it represents. Those who disagree with the directions President Bush has taken can change them by becoming active in the process and electing people who things their way.

i honestly do not hate the two one. I enjoyed Bush greater clever for various motives. the two adult adult males have acted on what they considered to be their maximum suitable concepts of the thank you to steer the country. the project with Obama is that he seems to think of socialism is the main suitable answer to our issues. Bush believes, as do I, that this united states desperately desires to overtake its tax code and to alter the way we cope with Social protection. Congress would not pass on those subject concerns, that could have been a legacy for the two the administrative and Legislative branches had those reforms taken place. As issues now stand, unfair taxation is detrimental the main suitable financial generator the country has, its inner maximum sector and small agencies, and Social protection is doomed to fail, in all probability in my lifetime (i'm a seventy one-twelve months-old Social protection recipient.) Obama is pandering to a miles less knowledgeable area of united statesa.'s inhabitants and to a slavishly biased information media. whilst Bush grew to become into some distance from a suited President, he seems greater clever each and each month Obama is in workplace.

He's president cuz the majority of american peoples elected him to be. twice. And i don't know about your other Q, why should we all hate him? THats for you to figure out yourself, if you can come up with a justified answer by observing and understanding why he did the things he did. You can find out. Do some of his actions have deeper meaning? Why is he doing this or that?
I;m trying to be neutral in what i tell you, but I'm stating my own opinion: I hate him because he's an idiot with power, he's also a coward and will never truly answer to what his people want for their country.

He's president because the uber rich are making a killing off of his position and the leverage it brings, and we should all hate him for being the tool that he is...
He was installed for his first term even though Gore won, but the second election was dumb luck (he ran against a schmuck from the same frat at Yale) and he was actually elected that time.

Don't hate George Bush. Hate the people that control him and control this country (behind the scenes). These nameless, faceless power brokers have installed Bush as their 'puppet', and he does only as he's told. George Bush isn't intelligent enough to tie his own shoes.
Hate the Bush administration and the sitting U.S. Congress for being the most incompetent, cowardly, arrogant, evil, corrupt body of politicians ever to occupy power in Washington, D.C. They have destroyed this country, put taxpayers trillions of dollars in debt, and will annihilate the world if they remain in power. -RKO-

Bush is President because he has the name and the face of a previous leader who also was more competent.
Bush needs to learn that half the battle of fighting a war is attacking the right stuff.

1) Ever heard of "voting"? He was voted into office.
2) We shouldn't hate him. He's doing a very difficult job under extremely difficult circumstances. I'd love to see any of the complainers do better, but we all know that's impossible.
