Dear Miguel, It's time to go to bed and put everything else to bed. Bless your thoughtless soul.

We should leave Iraq. We shouldn't have gone there in the first place. If it weren't for the extreme pressure put on us by Israel to protect the threat coming to them, not us, from Iraq, then we wouldn't have had the government and it's accomplices stage the 9/11 attack as a false flag to go to war with Iraq in the first place. Seems to me that we have to start thinking about our own country and less about Israel's intentions to "rule the world". The oil was just a fringe benefit and not the cause.

A great question that shows the extent of the liberalization of the country. We will never win if the will is not found and that won't happen unless we are hurt again. And as long as we allow the leftist leaning media that hates Bush to undregut the government by disseminating lies and anti-war propaganda just to hurt the Bush administration. Do you think if 9-11 had happen during Clinton presidency that the press would have acted the same way? No they would have praised his response and bravery in commiting our soldiers justified fight for freedom and revenge.

You are 110% correct and I am torn on this issue.
On one hand, as a proud American, I think we are more civilized than the animals of radical Islam and should act accordingly.
On the other hand, the British Empire handled Islamic fundamentalists in perfect fashion during colonial expansion. If you waged war or civil unrest towards British troops, they were known to bury the casualties with a pig making them unclean and denying them their entry into paradise.
In short, the British were smart enough to fight fire with fire and were known to equal the atrocities committed by the Muslims.
We are globally ridiculed for Abu Gra (sp?). Here a few terrorists were poked fun at, humiliated and roughed up by American troops. In the meanwhile, our captured citizens (Nick Berg) are captured and decapitated. This infuriates me. Take the leash off of our troops and let them wage war.
The liberals want to outlaw torture. I say make torture public, bury the dead jihadists with swine.
When they are in prison, feed them nothing but Bacon. Unless we wage war and equal the jihadist atrocities, how could we possibly declare victory over radical Islam?

We have indeed become too "nice" to actually win guerilla and terrorist engagements. The saying "Nice guys finish last" holds true. As about the only "nice guys" left in the world who are still willing to get involved helping others to fend off terroists like Hezbollah and rogue aggressors like Saddam and his followers, our best option has been to neutralize any standing agressor army, rebuild the infrastucture, help set up a moderate government, train its military and police to take over, and leave when we feel that we can without it all fall in on itself.
This is all doubly hard when our own people are so politically divided and just want to cut and run, and allow ourselves to be attacked on our own soil.

You want more attrocities as many from my old unit are facing the death sentence for doing just that!
Military will, and Civilian backbone are 2 different things!
We know that your deserter has a yellow streak a mile wide!
We shouldn't even be in Iraq! They weren't terrorist and they had nothing to do with 9/11!! As a matter of fact, they would be a hell of a lot better off under Saddam as they are thanks to us!
As a matter of fact, we would be a hell of a lot better off as well!

as long as the motivation is for financial profit than the war can go on interminably or until we run out of ppl willing to fight. when that happens, we can reinstate the draft & when all those ppl get killed, it will be up to congress to step in there & fight the war. when that happens, then the war will be over.

Because liberals are so afraid to hurt the terrorists feelings, they handcuff the military by destroying it in the court of public opinion. I guess since the war needs to be fought, soft is better than nothing.

I as a female agree, what a bunch of pussys. Wars about killing people dugh and it might be kind of hard for the soldiers to figure out which ones to kill because they all have rags on their heads and look alike.
