Non-violent revolutions are as rare as they are silent. They take time, patience and wisdom. Ghandi had that wisdom. Usually the revolutions we hear about are loud and go hand in hand with violence. Not many revolutionaries know what they are doing and take up arms quickly.

Ghandi and Martin Luther King Jr. bot had nonviolent revolutions, but one most also take into consideration that the system or persons whom you are revolting against may or may not act in the same manner as you.

Its certainly not going to be nonviolent in China. But some day, those people shall be free. But it will cost dearly in lives. Both the good guys and the bad guys. There will be a serious blood bath there.

"You say you want a revolution" OK song Not much happens in USA now without threat of violence, but hopefully the day will come when this changes. Don't know whole story about India. Besides his death Christ did pretty good.
