First off, the guy above me that claims he has studied communism is lieing or else he has no reading comprehension. Communism does not have a dictator. Pure communism evolves around the masses as a community where there is a community pool that each put into and take out of. There is a governing body but dictators are strictly forbidden. If the chosen leader is taking care of the community as his/her primary goal, communist societies tend to keep them in power and look to them much like a father... this stems from the concept of community taking care of each other rather than the capitalist concept of self.
Now to actually answer the question:
If I had to choose, it would be capitalism.
I could go into the details of each but I would rather talk about their effect on society and the individual psychie.
From the time you are born into a capitalist economic system, you are taught that your main priority is 'self'. With communism, it is 'community'.
You see the results of this concept of 'self' in our society everyday with the Donald Trumps, the Bill Gates and the Walton type families(richest family in the world - they own walmart). Our society rewards the haves over the have nots no matter how the haves obtained their wealth. IE, 80% of the wealth in this country was inherited.
I don't know about you but I see nothing 'good' about a society that rewards ppl based on what they have versus what they give to back to their community.
PS Good question. Communism and capitalism are both economic systems. Some ppl don't know that and sometimes ask uneducated questions that compare democracy against communism.

Those who state that capitalism is the only system driven by greed have not studied communism. Communism, too, is driven by greed. The problem is, it's only the few elite at the very top, who get to cash in. The masses can just "eat cake" as far as the rich, fat communist leaders are concerned.
Greed is a condition of the human heart. Capitalists and communists, rich and poor are ALL subject to an attitude of greed.
Capitalism isn't perfect, but it's a lot better than any other system, IMO. You aren't going to find ANY perfect system that is immune to human frailties. Humans are imperfect--always have been and always will be.

A communist is more evil, because communism itself is evil. It is a system of oppression. Capitalism is not an ideology, it is just the acknowledgment that free markets work better than state-controlled economies. Capitalists don't try to control the minds of their fellow-humans. Capitalists never try to prevent citizens to flee from their capitalist countries. You can be a communist in a capitalist country, the opposite is not possible. Etcetera

Communism is state capitalism, capitalism is communism for the rich. So you're comparing turtles and tortoises: they're both conceited parasites. There were no valid unions in the Soviet Union; it was overthrown, with help from other sources, by the Polish union Solidarnost. So Communists are anti-union, as are Communists who call themselves capitalists.
The employees create the value of the investment; the rich are the hired help. Unions must be mandatory.
The real problem is aristocracy. Inheritance must be abolished and the children of the rich must be disowned at age 18. No one has the right to set up unearned competitive advantages over the next generation; those who demand the right to finance their children hate competition and so must have gotten their own wealth through cheating and luck. So who needs them? They are just trying to buy the love of their children, whom they neglected by being workaholics. I have no sympathy for anyone who sacrificed his personal life and personality to get ahead. These people are freaks and they breed Preppy freaks.

A capitalist is far more evil. Communism is based on the idea of hard work yet equal pay for all. Capitalist don't care whose who. Money is the goal and they dont care who they hurt in the end.

Instead of asking that, why don't we ask about the outcomes of the actions of the two types? After all, it is often the thoughtless humanitarians who cause the most grief and misery through their unconsidered actions, while those who strive for personal gain without any thought for others often ending bringing the most good.
It wasn't the communists who gave us science, technology, inductry, the unparalelled wealth we enjoy today. It was, however, the communists who killed over 120 million people in just the last century, more than all the wars combined. It was the communists who, with their blinkered and ideologically hard-line understanding of economics and human nature, plunged nearly half the world into darkness, misery, poverty, repression, violence, and the daily threat of incarceration.
If you want to know who is more evil, look at the outcomes. Communism: 120+ million dead. Environmental devastation. Economic backwardness. Technological backwardness. Misery.
Capitalism: Ever-expanding life expectancy. Ever-increasing food production. Medical advances. Increasing productivity. Increasing wealth. Increasing leasure time. Increasing education. Defeat of political repression and tyranny. Liberty. Happiness.
The simple answer can be summed up this way: In capitalism, you are free to trade. You are fre to think. You are free to act within the limits of others' freedom. Under communism, you are not free at all.

The capitalist guys of Enron did a lot of evil stuff (and they are only one example) but, as far as I know, they killed no one. The communist regime was not very nice either (except to its friends) and they did kill quite a few people in their day. So they are both are evil in a way. The communists can be quite brutal. So are the capitalists, but they wear a smile and nice clothes while they are giving you the shaft.

The capitalist, because by definition he is driven by greed. The communist has at least good intentions. How beneficial those intentions play out later is to be seen, but the capitalists intention can only benefit one: The capitalist.

A Capitalist because war, poverty, exploitation and oppression are products of the capitalist system, a system in which a minority ruling class profits from the labor of the majority. The alternative is communism, a society based on workers collectively owning and controlling the wealth their labor creates.
