I've formed my own views, but i want to know what you the people think. Was Al Qaeda funded and set up and armed by the US or not? Furthermore, how come all the international workers, i.e. french, israeli etc, were warned about the threat on the day of September the 11th and left the world trade center for cover, whilst the US government did nothing to warn their own workers?

Al Queada in its conception was indeed funded by the US. Many years ago when we were trying to destroy Russia, we funded Osama Bin Laden and his freedom fighters, Mujahadeen, we supplied them with weapons if they would wage war with Russia. When Russia was finally crippled, Bin Laden saw could be done to a super power if you fought long enough. When in the 80's we funded both Iran and Iraq, this was not a good thing,so when Saddam invaded Kuwait, they asked America for help.Well Bin Laden thought they should have not allowed US troops onto to Saudi or Kuwaiti soil,as we were indirectly the cause for this invasion, since we did set Saddam up to be in power. So Bin Laden was bitter that his own Arab brothers turned to the US for help, when they could have turned to him, because look he helped us bring Russia to its knees. Oh um and also, we did do business with Taliban in Afghanistan until they refused to allow us to put in an oil pipeline, then we declared war on them and installed Karzai as President of Afghanistan and got the pipeline.So.....Al Queada is real yes. Oh and why would we warn the Americans to leave when our government created, planned and executed 9-11 with the help of the Saudi Government, more dead Americans, makes amore compelling reason to invade another country.

I believe that in the west we have to have an enemy in order to control the masses. In the eighties we all live in fear of the Russians. However if any-one ever went to Russia in the eighties you could not even get a phone to work properly so I think they had no chance of destroying the world! I think Al Qaeda does exist but I think the threat is less than governments portray. I believe that they knew Al Qaeda were going to carry out attacks on September 11 and they let them do it so that a new Enemy could be created. They then also had an excuse to try and sort out the middle east by military means....... Bush has unleashed a can of worms and his policies have created a huge anti american feeling. This is bad because America has always been a good force in the world and his presidency has destroyed that reputation.

There is no REAL al Qaeda network, and anyone who believes that, is seriously disillusioned. Bin laden did exist (he's truly dead and buried in the caves of Afghanistan now), and he was an ally of the US government against the soviets. He was able to put together the mujahideens for the benefit of the Americans who by their own admission funded and supported them. But then, Just before 9/11 Bin Laden grew up, and started to practice Islam, and he learnt that what he was doing by helping the Americans was unethical, so he decided to go his own way. Before that he was a very bad man, having committed many atrocities in the world. The Americans didn’t like this so with the help of a few friends the Bush admin orchestrated 9/11 and they helped pull down the twin towers (and neighbouring buildings in which no planes hit), any engineer can tell you that was not the work of two jets, that was just to create an illusion. Anyway, 9/11 set of a trigger for the bush admin to commence there crusade. Bin laden family and the bush's are very close friends and that is why they were flown out of the country on private jets while the rest of the American people continued to suffer in various forms. Al Qaeda, is now a convenient invisible bogeyman, there is no centralised network, no website, no membership programme but only a headquarters and that's in Washington DC.

Hope that helps.

Another interesting question.

Well, I might not go as far as claiming that Al Qaeda and the government are working together however, I am sure that there was so level of communication going on whether directly or indirectly. No matter how Radical those people are, they sure aren't that stupid to attack the only super power in such a way and not to expect our might unleashed on them.

There is no way that their leadership wasn't involved with some sort of a conspiracy in making this happen. The question is, when will such information be available to the public? We recently started to find out the truth about Vietnam. Let us not believe everything the government says. Think of it this way:

Why is Osama still free and alive? How come the president never speaks his name? Why are soooo focused on Iraq when Alqaeda is in Afghanistan?

once an ally now an enemy ... yes al queda is real. as for why workers weren't warned ... someone somewhere in the googly glop of mess of a goverment that we US citizens have to put up with and replace on occassion made a very very bad error by thinking that just because we are a superpower, that nobody could possibly do anything like that to us. Sort of reminds me of the bible story of David and Goliath.

Good question.

I have been wondering whether Al Qaeda is real for a while.

My conclusions are yes it is - But it may not be all that it seems.

hi I appreciate your opinion, yet i fantastically disagree approximately al qaida having a voice in this united states. Any generic al qaida operative could be shot on the spot in the event that they're interior the U. S.. Terrorism does exist, look at 9/11, london bombings, any bombings.AQ could have had a voice in the event that they wrote letters and debated with politicians yet on account that they use terrorist approaches then they're criminals. I do think of that Bush fuels terrorism via his difficult stance interior the middle east and destructive decision invading Iraq, and angering Muslims. additionally there are mass harmless casualties in Iraq, and their last family will desire revenge and the least complicated way they see it, is suicide bombs. Thats why theres no shortage of idiots strapping bombs to themselves and killing innocents and themselves. additionally i think of bush retains using 9/11 as a foundation to undercover agent on human beings and invade different international locations that has no association with AQ. yet i fantastically disagree that they are freedom warring parties. they have one purpose and that's to kill the "infidel" that are non muslims. Fanaticism and extremism, mixed with poverty, and illiteracy could be a detrimental blend. Its unhappy honestly. we could desire to win their minds, and get rid of terrorism root motives to win the conflict on terror.
