There seems to be a rash of "questions" which are simply vendettas against Conservatives or Republicans.
1. Are you tired of these "questions?"
2. Do you think that hatred or sarcasm proves someone is "right?"
3. Do you think that these are questions or just attempts to annoy others? Please give your reasons, and no- name calling is necessary.

Because many of these people have nothing to live for but hatred of others, and because they can't discuss issues on the merits, so they choose to mindlessly wail and scream at empty labels.

It's a form of contagious mental disease that is reaching epidemic proportions not just here, but throughout the world.

To answer by number: 1 yes, 2 never, 3 just attempts to annoy. I've asked before why these people do it, and the worst offenders refused to offer any justification whatsoever for their bashing.

My brief answer: Yes to #1, no to #2, yes to #3.
This site wouldn't exist except people are really bored and have nothing else better to do at the time. I guess if I were really tired of the questions and the attempt I make to answer some of them, I would just not visit this site any more. I don't think hatred is right, but sarcasm is interesting. To add to what I said about your 3rd question, I do think the questioners like annoying other people. I've never been annoyed by anyone's question on here...just upset that I spend so much time reading them.

Let me start with your list and then the main question.

I am sick of it, it is childish at best. You would think from a group that espouses liberty that they would be a bit more tolerant but I believe they have a true sickness, delusional paranoia. I have a link that sort of explains it.

Sarcasm has its place but when mixed with an irrational hatred, well it shows people that the poster is nuts.

I think the questions are part of a propaganda effort, either led by the DNC/Kos nuts or just the result of considering yourself a victim and feeling you must lash out.

Many, many of these posters believe they are helping their perceived cause, they do believe, but it is more along the lines of a brainwashed belief. Very few of them have ever read a dissenting opinion to their views, they have no basis in knowledge, it is all "felt". Which is a flaw in their logic. Others, although I think a minority, just like to piss people off. I have watched this on the message boards where someone takes both sides of the political extremes just to get people yelling and screaming. I have found that the best treatment for these people is to ignore them, they hate not being the center of attention like little children, and they hate being ignored.

I posted a few intelligent questions to the liberals here and the only responses I got were from conservatives. I was amazed. I thought some liberal would come at me hot and heavy with evidence or at least psuedo-evidence to support their position. My conclusion to this is; 1) they are regurgitating what they read and hear from the propaganda machine and have no real substance in their beliefs and 2) they will not engage in intellectual discourse choosing to act like children.

1. Yes
2. No, but they feel happy with the validation provided by others of the similar ilk
3. Yes, it is done to troll, nothing else.

There are paid political hacks out there designed to sway opinion (on both sides of the spectrum) so not all of this is "innocent' some is designed by the RNC, DNC and the DNC supported labor organizations. You will often see them "gang up" on a member of the opposite side who makes valid, coherent points in an attempt to run them off. This used to happen on Usenet, and now happens on sorts of blogs and forums.

There are also just a bunch of people who are batshit crazy who will do and say anything against the other side.

I agree with you completely.

Most of the questions have been nothing more than insults and abuse to such a great web site. There are soo many ignorants out there who could care less about this importance of debate such a platform offers. The fact that people can post comments, questions, or answers without their identities exposed, exposes their true selves and shows us the kind of society we are a part of. I am so ashamed of those people and wish they could learn to live up to the human dignity.

It does get old. There are a lot of people that cannot post a question without trashing Liberals, Democrats, Republicans or conservatives. I'm very tired of those questions. I think most of them are from one-sided, closed minded, ill informed people who have nothing intelligent to say so they just spew hatred. I don't think we'll ever run out of them though it's part of the equation I guess.

Few people can be happy
unless they hate some other
person, nation, or creed.

BERTRAND RUSSELL

Sad but true and in America today very popular!
Many find it easier to attack than form a cohesive argument ,many just spout the rhetoric they heard on CNN last night!

I want answering questions because factors are received while if I ask a question then I lose factors. in reality, there have been circumstances that I were given mean solutions, pretty from actual individuals.

Some do it to spark an arguement. As this is more of a Bulletin Board....they make their point and can ignore all of the counter-points without having to defend themselves.

Some do it to promote their agendas and further other people's ignorance.

Honestly? I think it's because those who do it haven't outgrown childish tactics. Now, in some of my questions I have wondered about some of these people. Like for these:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApakJZEAZaSsw9AiBXMR4gPsy6IX?qid=20060813182539AAAl0h3
(Above, long story short, they were accusing me of being racist.)

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkLV1Gf7XEgozf3WMq_JEKLsy6IX?qid=20060801161035AAk88AE
(I hated how that person got chosen for best answer for something stupid like that. But I'm not surprised. He or his friends always win for stupid answers when they're put up for a vote.)
So as I said, it's because they're childish, on all three of your mini-questions. I know I've been childish as well, but no one's perfect.
I do get tired of both the liberal and "neocon" bashing though. I TRY not to be hateful or taunting in either my questions or answers...but as I said, everyone does it from time to time, even if they make a serious attempt not to.
