Working women who can still manage to have a home and children. And, what's even better is having all of that AND a supportive husband!

Traditionalists want that women need no career and that her domain is home. That has an advantage for the husband and the children. But in an age of professed gender equality and women empowerment, a career for a woman gives her independence and economic freedom that ensures that she is not exploited by her husband and his family. Majority of women prefer employment at any cost, although she has to bear the brunt of nurturing the family, while pursuing her career. In the changed scenario, where both the husband and the wife are pursuing their careers, it is necessary that both of them share their domestic responsibilities equally. Men have to give up the notion that kitchen is the exclusive domain of the womenfolks.

Both of them can be good. However, if a working woman stays out for too long and does not care much about her home, I think she can be taken as not suitable. When it comes to housewife, if she is more interested in creating problems in the family she should be taken as no no. Just go with a woman who is more lady like. who knows how to take care of both work n home in a balanced fashion.

Neither one is "better" or worse than the other. I really don't understand where you're going with this. Women have the right to choose either and it's their choice.

All women work. Only some of us get paid for it. And very few of us get paid what we are worth.

i agree with ritika. if a woman can stay at home and raise her children that is great. there are situations that are out of her control, however and she is required to work. both types of women deserve a break.

It solely depends upon the psychology, social values, broadmindedness and necessity in ones life.

Neither. I've been both. I prefer working, because that way I'm earning my own money...but I don't mind staying home to cook and clean either. I make sure my husband has everything he needs, AND I have more "energy" for him.
