I think that we should ditch Puerto Rico and Hawaii. But only for five years. After five years, we should give them a final choice: shut the **** up or you're on your own for good. Maybe they can become a nation with Quebec. They can call themselves the United States of Whiners and Complainers.

I think the U.S. should keep Puerto Rico because the island country can contribute much (positive) aspects to the U.S. states. Nevertheless, the island country/U.S. Commonwealth territory will eventually become a U.S. state.

Puerto Rico is a welfare state. The only good things that come from Puerto Rico are the beautiful women and the rum.

Does it really matter what we do with Puerto Rico? Its like a tiny little island with loud mouthed women.Its filled with people who come to the US and then speak spanish and refuse to learn english.Let them have independence and stop giving them so much damn money every year. Let them go or grant them right to vote in house and senate

Normally.. I would say ditch it as it is costing tax payers here a lot of money.. welfare, etc. But if they get their independence, some Arab country could take it over
