Does it matter at this point? Democrat or Republican, either way we lose. The person will be hated from day one and will not get a break. Bush has seriously destroyed faith in government, and the US reputaton overseas.

Whoever wins has a mountain to climb to restore integrity to the White House and to our international standing.

Our best hope is to get a real moderate reformer who wants to get rid of attack politics and bring our nation back to sanity. I doubt we'll get that candidate.

We can be sure the next Commander in Chief will not be a republican, that is almost a certianty. Unfortunately as much as I believe Hillary would make a great leader, I do not think the true powers that be will allow her to get elected. Although we live in a county that allows us more freedom than most in this world, there are a lot of crappy people in it willing to do some pretty crappy stuff to get what they want.
Just think how many times her life must get threatened for contemplating running for office. How sad is it that we still live in a world where things like that can take place. If Hillary runs and gets elected I would be both astounded and elated. I think Mrs. Clinton would do a fantastic job, but I just don't think the a-holes who are behind the curtian will allow that.

Depends on USA citizen. If they love bush for destroying soft and respectable corner from the world, built-up by past presidents by last centuries; may be there is another guy like bush from republic...

and if they can feel and understand they did a wrong by choosing such an idiot president, such a terrorist kind president and if they can understand by battle noone can be leader in this era, world doesnt respect rather hate...then they will choose the right person for the next president who will be kind enough for the rest of the world and will try to recover the destroyed respect and love for USA.

It doesnt matter who the President is, or what party he is from. The President doesnt have any real control anyway, he is just a puppet who gets up on stage and spouts off whatever he thinks will fool the idiotic citizens of the US for the moment.

Does it really matter, any x-corporate clown will fill the bill. As if reading speeches, posing for pictures, and answering question via an ear piece is a really difficult job.

A speachless monkey could do a better job than the last few puppets you losers have chosen as your leaders.

It does not really matter does it? There is always one loser, the ordinary man and woman, working, paying taxes and living a decent life. Little changes for them whoever gets into power.
