The problem with CNN and FoxNews is that they are entertainment venues with news programs. Once you mix news with political editorial you run the risk of including that bias into your reporting.
The main reason none fo these outlets are fair or credible is that they rely on advertising dollars to fund broadcasting. That means identifying and targeting an audience, that leads to bias in the way the news is reported.
CNN is not nearly as bad as they used to be and Fox is a little worse than they used to be as far as bias is concerned. Neither alone are great sources of information but they both beat the hell out of any broadcast news program, they not only have a liberal slant, they should have the DNC listed as the producer.

You mean the high quality of faked documents that CBS and Dan Blather produce? Or the flood of faked photos that Reuters spread around to news agencys around the world?
If I actually see any "Actual and True" news reporting from any ratings crazed, "if it bleeds it leads", media outlet maybe then you can get an answer to your question that isn't blindly and ignorantly partisan. Till then, you continue to think that FoxNews is the devil and your equally wacked out counterparts on the other end of ignorantly political spectrum can continue to think that CNN is the Devil.

Please! Those news outlets consider Fox to be lying and distorting the truth because they are liberal news outlets who don't want to believe the truth. Fox is running a commercial or maybe a PSA from the Kurds thanking the U.S. for its sacrifices in saving them from Saddam's plan of total eradication. You won't see that on any liberal news outlet because they want people to think that every thing about the Iraq war has been wrong and a total disaster. Now who's lying and distorting the facts?

LOL.. .....Since I am a person who digs for her own information when I hear a news story, I am of the opinion that Fox is more forthcoming with just the facts and not opinion of the story. We will have to agree to disagree on this one. Why is that liberals have a problem with conservatives having even one channel? Sound a bit like censorship to me.

Have you ever heard that old saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"? I think the same can be said about truth now! We all watch, read, listen to news that suits our individual needs and beliefs and there are plenty of news outlets out there to cater to everyone. Pick your poison! Some of us are bright enough to not listen to just one side of an issue and watch a little of everything, apparently you are not one of us.

It IS "left-leaning".
It just isn't nearly as left as the far left-wingers and that's why they claim that, in fact, the MSM is on the right!
It would be laughable if it weren't so sad.
On the other hand, if the Weak Sisters wish to continue marginalizing themselves, I say - more power to 'em!

Hmmmmm..... Your question wouldn't perhaps be showing your OWN bias, would it? Perhaps it's time you listen to a wider variety of news sources, and consider how each distorts the news. Perhaps you'd learn to think for yourself, and find your mind significantly more open!
