I was wondering because I know at least two people named Maggie and they don't like to be called anything else, but it seem's like Maggie would be a nickname for Margaret because the names are so similar. Is Maggie a nickname for Margaret or not?

Margaret Eleanor is a stylish, eye-catching call and Maggie is a lovable and lovable nickname. Plus Margaret and Eleanor both elements diverse different nicknames if she comes to a decision she would not like her actual finished call or Maggie and needs to go back up with something more beneficial present day. in my view, i respect the call and that i imagine that's ideal.

I wouldn't think so.

Margaret nickname would be Marge or something.

Maggie is just a name...not a nickname

Or at least I think so.

Perhaps, but "Peggy" is for some odd reason. I'm sure many of you have heard that before. Like Dick came from Richard... What's next? Will we Arthur be called "Skip?"
