I love my kids to death!!! But I do regret having them!!
I got married at 18 and well, I have 2 kids a 2yr old girl and an 9 month boy, I love them to death but at times I regret it cause I feel like Im not the mom they deserve. Also because now that Im 23 I feel like I haven't live life to the fullest and I feel like doing a lot of crazy stuff but I cant cause well, Im married and have 2 kids. I know it sucks that Im saying this but, its the truth...I know alot of people are gonna say I dont deserve them but, at least I admitted, I love them to death but if I could go back, I would've wait longer to have them.

Difficult choices such as Marriage, Children, Sex, College, Joining the military....etc. You will eventually develop a sense of regret, more like a second guess at what life would have been had you not made such a difficult decision. This I think is extremely normal. I have a 4yr old daughter whom I love to death. When she was an infant I regretted it. Most of the time I would think..what the hell did I get myself into. But time passes and things get better. She is now 4 and can communicate with me any problems she has. But through out the entire time I have always loved her. So regret is not a bad thing its an emotion based on the "What If" situations in life. Sometime regret help us to really understand how we are better off then others who lets say don't have kids. Regret lets us compare the pros and cons of life and there are many things we will eventually regret in life. So long we dont allow the "regret" to linger in our minds its O.K

I will admit that AT FIRST, I regreted it but BOTH of my kids were in my belly at the time that I was feeling regretful...plus, I was very young and I wanted to abort both of them at the moment I found out I was pregnant. My daughter is 8 years old now and my son is 2 years old now. Im SO GLAD that I had helpful and supportive people in my life. I love my kids. I accept them as GIFTS from GOD. GOD proved to me that I can handle the most difficult job in the world, "raising a human being". The gift of LOVE and patients and being very strong to handle so much. I didn't think I could handle my own darn problems let alone a CHILD and if they have problems...I didn't think I had the patients and love for kids. But I DO HAVE THAT GIFT....any women will if she just has faith and let others help her get through the pregnancy, GIVE A CHILD A CHANCE. I thank GOD for the people in my life that helped me!

Besides when my kids were in my belly, NO, I will have to say that I have NOT regreted ANY MOMENT of having them or them being in my life!! those moments is where I STRONGLY believed in "love at first sight"
hehehe and every moment I have with them is the GREATEST GIFT FROM GOD!

Thanks for the question! Hope there will be lots of possitive answers for ya!

I have two children and do not regret it. I only wish I would have waited longer, saved lots of money so i could of been a stay at home mother. I do believe and realize now (14 years later) why do you have children if you are going to let someone else raise them?

I'm not speaking for myself, but my uncle who has 4 children voiced his opinion that one child is enough. This was spoken when his children are all grown up. I am sure many people regret having kids or too many kids, but don't have the guts to let anybody know about it.

Oh I think every parent has, at least momentarily, wished they had chosen not to have kids. You know, when they have to pass up a trip because the kids are in school or can't buy the latest new thing in electronics because the little brats need shoes. Thankfully it all goes away the instant the little darlings turn on the 500 watt smile when you walk into the door and yell " Hi, I'm glad your home"

i agree, i can't think of many who would actually admit it, it would make them sound so bad. but i believe there are some who do. the way the talk about their kids, and even sometimes say "i should have never had them...just kidding" i don't really think they are kidding. i know my mother regretted having my sister and me, because she told us all the time, but that's a whole 'nother story

I believe many people including my mother.
I know she loves me and my two sisters but if it wasn't for us (well, for my first sister who came into the world as an 'accident' but a beautiful accident to me) she would probably be famous since she was getting involved with acting at the time.
