i had always wanted to adopt, but my husband was adopted and really, he changed my views on life in general. we have a son together and one on the way.

I actually have BOTH = )~
Like for me I know the joy of having a child naturally (who is now 15)
And have discovered that the son I adopted at birth (now 5) I see and love no differently then the one I gave birth to.
I feel so blessed to have both and cannot ever see my life without either one.
A funny note: My two sons are 10years and 1 week apart and all my oldest son's friends come up to my little one at footballs games and say "You have to be Hollaway's brother you look little a mini version of him!" God works is mysterious ways!

as much pain as labor is, there is NO feeling on earth like having your own child - but... theres nothing more self satisfying than giving a child who has noone the gift of a family. I'd do the Brangelina thing, have one of your own AND adopt. I wish I was rich I'd adopt like 5 kids.

well i had my son naturally and i love him to death but if a child needed a home i would open my home to that kid. i can't see kids suffer. so basically maybe later in life i will adopt a kid because it i know that there are a lot of kids out there that could use a happy home like mine

Both. I had one, and adopted two. It doesn't matter if I didn't give birth to the adopted two, they are still mine.

of course I wil rather have hin naturally but if I will cross a certain age I wil adopt one.
