Iran
Holocaust forum scheduled
The government will hold an international conference on the Holocaust in December that will allow historians to present "hidden aspects" of the slaughter of Jews under Nazi Germany, newspapers reported yesterday. The two-day conference, entitled "Study of Holocaust, A Global Perspective," is to start on Dec. 11, the reports said, and will touch on issues including the "reasons for anti-Semitism in Europe," "the Holocaust and Zionism," "the Holocaust in historical documents" and "Holocaust: rules and media." According to the foreign ministry, "there should be scientific opportunities created for researchers to present hidden aspects of this most important event of the 20th century as transparently as possible."

There is a lot of, "get them before they get us" mentality at work that makes too many Americans willing and wishing to drop weapons of mass destruction upon Iraq, and see total devastation before stopping, and not stop in the middle (which is their way of seeing the alternative.) There are Americans who cannot feel safe at home until and unless we have made getting bombed here just about impossible. We have already killed too many in this war. Consequences are possible here in this country; and in the lower heavens beyond, debts do not just stop and can be worse then & there, in the inevitable lowers heavens. Why can't there be Peace Talks on earth now? Sufficient unto today has been the evil thereof.

Unless you are Dick Cheney, it is pretty clear to everyone that Iraq is as bad as ever and that it is clearly getting worse. Despite killing Zarqawi, the insurgency is alive and well. Sunni's and Shia's are killing each other now faster than American troops. This is the definition of a civil war. So do you want to wait around and get as many U.S. soldiers killed as possible or what?

How would a US withdrawl from Iraq cause Islamic extremists to "attack America more often." That doesn't follow logically at all. Just as everyone in this regime stating that anyone opposed to any of their policies "emboldens the enemy." What a load of crap. Just more rhetoric, playing off of fear and the basest of huan emotions. And you guys just lap it up.

The Iranians and Muslim world as a whole have been reporting victory after victory over the west to convince more people to join Jihad. You are correct that it will get very bad when we leave. If it's today or 3 years from now it will still get bad. I am for leaving soon, just to let Iran invade and give us a huge reason to blow them to smithereens too. Jihad will continue to grow until either we wipe out Islam or they wipe out freedom. It's going to get really ugly!!

#1 This is why we are here===== If we were to do that.....Iran would easily take over. That would give them an even bigger oil supply.
#2 We shouldn't have to police the world ourselves.

We said we wouldn't leave until we get the WMD's out of their hands. As George Bush said, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!"
We said we wouldn't leave until we got Saddam Hussien, we did that. As George Bush said, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!"
We said we wouldn't leave until we set up a new Iraqi government. George Bush said, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!"
There were never ANY signs of Al-Quida like we said. The Iraqi generally wants us out. EVERY REASON we went there, either never really exsisted, or we have done what we said we would do. What else is there? The terrorists are not going to "follow us home", face it, they are here already. Nobody will say we lost either. We have been beating on them for nearly 3 1/2 years, we finished what we set out to do. Now we are done, time to go. If you fought a guy, beat him up like a girl for over an hour, then decide to leave because you are finished... does that mean you lost? Or that you finished what your objective? Face it buddy, the war is over now.
