They understand that the Democratic party never helped anyone get wealth or hold onto it. The dems are more concerned with allowing for survival of the poor in a rich person's world. It is sad really. Wealthy democrats don't even abide by the policies that they are proponents of on issues like taxes and the environment. It's like Bill Mahr said about trickle down economics, at least the republicans will tell you that they are pissing on you.

Because the type of thinking that makes a person a republican, also makes a person wealthy. It's not a racial issue.
Simple willingness to work hard, not ask for handouts combined with intelligence tends to make one a republican.
It also makes a person wealthy, after a time.

They have had a very good education and they are
beyond the victim stage of the other blacks who go around with a chip on their shoulders blaming everyone
else for their problems. Any how they are very intelligent people.

Because they don't allow Dems to make them think that they're not capable of succeeding. Dems try to keep the downtrodden down, otherwise, they wouldn't have a base.
