Good movie although I could not understand how the wife got the Oscar.

I had seen Apollo 13 and I really think it is a very good movie and it had deserved the Oscar for everything that it did. I am a space and flight buff anyway and I really enjoy stuff like this alot.

Yes, I saw it. It was a good movie. Because it is based on a true event, the excitement and suspense are that much more profound, and it also really demonstrates in great detail what flying in and living aboard a space capsule is like. Maybe a little too technical in places, but overall it was certainly worth watching, in my opinion.

Oh yes, I've seen it many times! I'm a big fan of space travel movies, particulary since my husband was freshman roommate at USAFA with a very famous space shuttle astronaut and top man in the space program. If you pick my answer, I will tell you who he is!

I saw it, I think it was an excellent movie, could had use more special effect, but overall it was good.
