The Dark side as the indication of evil has been around since WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY before George LUcas that many people don't even think about it in terms of race. Though many Black people may be offended because of this

Dark is a sybol for evil...he didn't call it the "colored people side", it should have no racist connotation as it is. Why do people associate anything that says dark with being racist?

No, it has to do with spirituality. Like yin and yang. one is light and one is dark. It has been around long before there were any connotations to race.
