If i wouldnt have read the book first, I would have been totally confused. No, it is a work of fiction. In the book the author specificly states that is fiction. The only factual parts are when art, places, location of things are referenced. It just kills me all the controversy that book caused. IT IS FICTION.

The book was better than the film, however, I did like the film a lot. Tended to vary from the better parts of the book though.

It is purely fiction and there are many lies in it . Read the Bible and see for yourself . Satan is the father of lies and has put the idea of the movie in Brown's head . Blasphemy is the only fitting word I can think of about it . John 14:6

Not as good as the book. I think they are true except the whole Jesus being married thing. He lived in an apocolyptic time, there would have been no need for marriage.

I thought the book was better... but you should read The Hiram Key by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas if you are more interested in this subject!

not true
the film was very badly done, the story is not believable and Tom Hanks was way too over qualified for the role.
The moment I saw the girl run down a cobblestone street at break neck speed with 3 inch heels on - they lost me
stoopid film

The book was a lot better, I didn't really like how the film portrayed the characters.

The movie was better than the book but I don't know if there was a whole lot of truth in either.

the book was better,, the movie would have been good if they had used anyone but Tom Hanks.
some of the stuff in the book and movie are factual,, but you have to do the research and decide on your own.
