Pizza sauce needs to be thin, and smooth so you can spread it on your pizza crust, no lumps! For spaghetti sauce, chunky is good. Pieces of veggies, ground meat or slices of sausage, are what make a spaghetti sauce great! Even vegetarian recipes for spaghetti sauce usually leave at least some of the vegetables in pieces, like sliced mushrooms and diced peppers.
In a minch, though, you could definitely use spaghetti sauce on a pizza, or pizza sauce on pasta, but I'd probably add some veggies or meat to kick it up a bit.

The sauce you put on pizzas is pizza sauce, and you put spaghetti in spaghetti sauce. Same basic sauce.

pizza sauce is specifically made for pizzas because it doesn't have the chunks of tomatoes in it, but spaghetti sauce does.

Well my gramma told me crushed tomatoes make pizza sauce and it should be sweeter than the sauce for pasta...also ...you use oregano in pizza sauce and basil in pasta sauce...but they could be interchanged depending on personal preference
