First boil the eggs for 10minutes and let them cool.
Take the shells off the eggs.
Cut the eggs up as finely as you want into a bowl. Add celery if you wish.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add mayonnaise. IT IS NOT what your first responder said about it!! Use a little and then add as much as you want.
Take two slices of bread and layer each with some lettuce.
Add the egg mixture by spreading it over the lettuce.
Put the two pieces of bread together to make a sandwich..
ENJOY!!

put 4 eggs into a pot of cold water, enough to cover the eggs. Bring to a boil, remove from het, cover and let sit for 20 min. Then, drain the water and run eggs under cold water. Immediately peel. Chop up the eggs with a pastry cutter or just a fork. Add mayo or miracle whip until it becomes creamy. Now the fun part, what do you like? You can add chopped onion, celery, pickles, or keep it simple and add a little salt, pepper, and dry mustard. Now it is ready to spread on your favorite bread. Enjoy!

The best way is the easiest way. Take your eggs and boil them until they are hard boiled. Then peel your eggs. using a fork mash up the eggs yolk and all. Add desired amount of Mayo and mustard to taste. Put on 2 pieces of good bread and enjoy. You could add a little bit of cream cheese if you want. Its a really simple recipe and very good.

Ww, I can't believe not a single person listed relish in their ingredients.
Ive always made my egg salad with 2 hard-boiled eggs, a tablespoon of mayo, just enough to make it stick together, a thinly sliced green onion (regular onion is too strong for egg salad) 2 teaspoons or pickle relish and a bit of salt & pepper to taste.
Just mush it all together with a fork, and sread it on your bread with a lettuce leaf. I like it best on a whole wheat pita bread with lots of boston lettuce.

Those all sound good .... Mine is almost like those except I add a little Cayenne Pepper and a little sugar. The sugar brings out the flavor of the pepper ... odd I know ... but seriously need to try it !!!
