my gf isn't moving states, but she is supposed to move to the opposite side of the state. i Love her with my whole heart. and she Loves me 100% right back.
yellow card's "ocean avenue" track 6 wouldn't hurt anything. it's really neat, and, when i showed it to my Love, she turned to me and said it right back. she really liked it- i might give it a shot.
you could write him a letter, i thought that it was cute and thoughtfull when my girl did that for me. make it long- a couple of pages, and say what you mean. i have this saying-
"say what you mean, mean what you say, and don't make what you say mean!"
tell him that you love him with everything in you, you're sorry if you hurt him, you need him back in your life, he's the only one for you, and you miss being held in his arms- or something like that. you gotta make up the rest though.

Real love will stand up to that. You can talk on the phone or IM. you can still visit. The world is really a very small place and love will find a way.
