The best way to do it is to find an exercise and diet program that will fit in with your daily schedule.
If you starve yourself, it will only make it worse, because your body won't know when it will get food next, so it will start to store what you eat when you eat, and you will without question start to get bigger.
What you should do, is eat regular meals. Keep the portions small, but high in numbers. Smaller number of meals with bigger portions could lead to the same effect.
The diet plan I have, I eat about 7 times a day, but my meals aren't very big at all. But I'm never really really hungry at any point in the day.
Also, it helps if you drink alot of water. What the water does for you as apposed to juices or milk or pop, is it cleans out your system and helps things run better. The other things might be a liquid, and quench your thirst temporarily, but what water does is that it helps your organs work better as its a "clean" liquid as opposed to the other stuff. Kinda like keeping clean oil in your car is a good way to think about that.
Next is to find a fun way for yourself to work out. You might not have any weights or anything at home, but that shouldn't stop you from doing simple things like picking up your kids and carrying them around, playing games with them like tag or hide and seek. Or lifting the end of the sofa a few times a day. The kids will enjoy the games, and you will end up getting a good cardiovascular workout from all the running. And as for the sofa, you might just find the missing TV remote or a few dollars in change underneith it. If you dont have any kids, then go for a walk around the block a couple times, enjoy the scenery, or walk down the road, see what you can see.
If you want, there are many gyms and dojos all around too. You can join one of them, personally, I would go for the dojo's as they can give you self-defence skills needed when you start to trim down to defend yourself from would-be wooers, and you can make new friends.
Again, diet pills don't really work. And about the extra baggage, the gyms and working out will make you more lean, and it can be replaced with large bulky muscles, if you wanted to go that far with it. But you will eventually become lean, and trim. But remember also, the more weight you train with in whatever area, the bigger the muscles will get in that area. Keep to your cardio, like running, walking, jumping jacks, pushups, situps, pullups, and etc, and you will keep your body lean and trim. Just remember to do it everyday, weight-lifting every other couple of days.
Best thing to do is to go out and have fun with what you do, because if you are stressed out with what you are trying to do, then you will only put on more stress weight.

The only way to effectively lose pounds is to reduce caloric intake and increase exercise or activity! I have always been a person that believed that life was too short to drink non-fat milk, use spreads instead of real butter or deprive myself of a big ol bowl of ice cream, but oh man...it does catch up with you! My mother and I started the Nutrisystems diet and have lost 17lbs in 2 and a half weeks...(mom has lost 21)...it's not that difficult to do if you REALLY want to get rid of the extra weight...the southbeach diet is a good plan as well! There are many alternative methods of dieting other than ineffective and potentially harmful quick fix pills.
Good Luck!

its not good to skip your daily intakes instead, you should balance your daily diet in such a manner that even after eating you should feel comfortable to work and not feel sleepy and you should not have any fatty food spicy food and junk food, occassionally these foods are permissible but not always then you have mentioned you sit before the computer all day through here you can do one thing instead of sitting continuosly take a short break and walk some steps here and there once in an hour or so, the break should be for a period of ten to twenty minutes and always do some exercises in the morning or go for a long walk and always remember after each meal or dinner dont sit but walk a little bit this helps in digestion

Exercise, just simple walking, jogging or swimming. If you walk do at least 45 minutes of brisk walking a day and at least 5 days a week (does wonders for you). You can cut down on your portions say by a third and eat normally (i.e. whatever you enjoy) but you have to have plenty of fibres (fruits, vegetables or supplement like psyllium) especially before during or after the meals (before and during is better).

drink a lot of water and stop drinking sodas, coffee with sugar, and other fat or sugary drinks.
eat food with more vegetables. like vegetable sandwich or salad or vegetable soup. over all eat less meat and sugar in your food since you sit a lot.
take breaks and stretch...this really helps! it only takes a few minutes.
go for a run around the block or area on your lunch break or after work. even a ten to fifteen minute run can do wonders. running burns more and faster than many excercises.

apparently, your little weight is what people in the industry call "yoyo" weight. it comes off and on, on and off. best is to exercise..even if it means walking from your house to office...or just a little walk around. make at least 30 minutes a day just for this. then slwoly increase the intensity. I am also like you.. and it helps if you have a certain sport u have been dying to try. It helps you to enjoy the exercise and njot just focus on losing weight...muay thai is good!!

If you don't really care for food, try anorexia. If you love food...go with the bulimia.
No really though, eat smaller portions of better for you food at least 5 times a day and drink enough water and exercise. You can't expect to lose that butt without getting up off it and moving it a little.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!
