If she is going off for college or moving out, a gift certicate to Ikea or Target or somewhere she could purchase new apt. stuff would be nice.
A dinner in a nice restaurant is simple way of congratulating her, and maybe a small trinket, such as a pair of earrings, or a charm bracelet. Passing on a family heirloom is always a generous and special gesture.

What ever you feel comfortable with. Some kids prefer money, of course. You can always get a gift certificate to a Barnes and Nobles, borders, or what have you. gift certificates for Starbucks would be nice. Congrats!

Money. Hits the spot and she can buy what she likes. She'll like that I promise. If you prefer not to give money. A piece of fine jewelry will be a keepsake.
