Give me a step by step thing please, i'm not good at remembering this stuff.

No I forgot how to just basically cube them, usually i'm cutting potatoes to fourths and I went blank. And it's potato leek soup.

First pick out potatoes close to the same size. Cut in half then stand the half up w/cut end down. Cut into 4 pieces, then half each of those....Down south we just tend to eyeball those measurements. The important thing is to just make every piece approx. the same size - that way they will all cook at the same rate....What's for dinner?

You just cut a potato into 1" cubes.

It doesn't have to be exact for gods sake. Just approximate and stop stressing about it.
