How do liberals intend to maintain any political clout in the future when they are having less babies?

Statistics are out, and queer-loving libs are having less babies than conservative families.

I guess that is what happens when you care more about pampering cats and dogs and whether men having anal sex with men is a marriage, than having babies.

Number one I would like to see the study or survey you are citing as justification for the notion that liberals are having fewer kids. Where are these so called “statistics”? Keep in mind the liberal establishment encompasses many diverse ethnic groups, such as Mexicans and blacks; two groups know for their fecundity.

Furthermore just because a political party has a larger constituency, does not necessarily mean that they are necessarily very influential or have a lot of clout. Many conservative families, who are large in number, stem from rural areas where education is a bit under par, and this in turns produces an electorate that may not be as enthused by politics. While conversely many liberal urbanites come from very highly educated backgrounds, and though they are few in number, are heavily influential in the political arena.

Truth is, even if the numbers of living liberals decline, I don’t think that will spell the demise of their political viability. Ultimately liberals have always derived strength not from their numbers, but from the cogency of their ideas, and the foibles of conservative ideology when put into practice. It’s the reason why Clinton won in 1992, after 12 dismal years of Republican leadership. It is why, that in all probability, liberals again will cease control in the next major presidential election, given the deplorable performance of the Bush administration.

By the way your Avatar states that Che Guevara is dead. Yes, physically he is. However, his revolutionary spirit is alive and well, and it is that spirit that is far greater threat to establishment hacks than is his physical being.

There are too many people on Earth to sustain it and there will come a time where the government will tell us how many children to have because of over population. It is coming, maybe not in our lifetime but it will. If Mother Nature doesn't take care of it first. Greed for money to have more than 1 home and 2 cars is where its at now. I'm liberal, and I have 2 kids to replace my wife and myself when we leave this world. Those of you who have litters of children and say this is what God commands you to do are responsible for dooming the future of mankind and the planet. You may very well outbreed us to the point where you take over all the world's governments. What will you do then when you're supposed to be "responsible"? I'm just glad I'll be long gone by then, because the end of the civilization will be at hand, and no, there won't be a rapture, just a bunch of starving children wondering why their parents let it happen.
