Classic rock definitely. it's better because the name says so. This genre is the rock which stood out through ages, and is heard by different generations then that in which it was composed. It is the pinnacli of rock music. Remember in the 60's and 70's rock musicians were oppressed by radio shitheads and only the best survived, from work of mouth and albums. So the music was really good, not the music video. alternative is just modern stuff, it may become classic someday, but chances are rare
