Oh man, there's certainly no exact science to french toast. When I'm in a hurry I break out a can of egg nogg and soak my bread in it (yeah I'm a sicko - I keep cans of egg nogg all year long).

But with what you've got at home, first make an egg wash with approx. a cup of milk and an egg. Just add the edd to the milk and mix it all up with a for k (or whisk).

Let your bread slices soak for a about 15 seconds on each side and then put it in a pan heated with a little butter. When its brown on one side flip it and brown the other. When it comes out, put some of those bananas chopped on it and sprinkle with some powdered sugar (if you have it). And you're going to need some kind of syrup - pankcake, maple, heck use microwaved jelly, jam, or marmalade if you have to.

Enjoy your French Toast!

Well, to make good French toast, you gotta have vanilla, but if you need it today, just mix eggs, milk, brown sugar, a pinch of salt and cinnamon together. Soak the toast in the eggs. Heat up a griddle and melt some butter. Fry the bread until it's golden brown on both sides. Serve with your favorite syrup. Here are some websites that you can go to for great French toast recipes and other recipes too. Happy cooking!

FRENCH TOAST

3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla, optional
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
10 slices bread

In a large bowl, mix beaten eggs with the milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip a slice of bread into mixture then place on a heated griddle that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side on medium / medium-high heat or until desired doneness.

Take eggs and put them in a bowl. Add cinnamon and sugar if you want to. Wisk the mixture together. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add either butter or cooking spray. Dip the bread in on each side adn then place it in the pan. Turn it over after about 2-3 min and watch it. As you get towards the end it will take less time to cook.

Beat 2 eggs with a splash of milk and some cinnamon (maybe 1/4tsp) if you have it. Dip bread into egg mixture and drop onto greased (with Pam, is best...) frying pan on med heat. Cook until first side is golden brown, then flip. When cooked to your liking, butter if you want and add some syrup, jelly, or bananas. Enjoy.

Simplify! The vanilla is nice to have, but not necessary. Leave the bread slices out to stale a bit (next time, leave them out all night.) Beat 2 eggs with 1/2 to 1 cup of milk. heat 2 TBL butter in your skillet until sizzling but not brown. Dip a slice of bread in the egg mixture, turn it over, try to soak up as much as you can. Put it in the skillet to brown, and do another, and so on. Check each slice frequently so they don't burn. When as brown as you like, turn over and cook the other side. Second side won't take as long as the first.

Put on some jelly, honey, or syrup if you like, and enjoy.

Crack an egg into a shallow bowl...add a splash of water or milk beat with a fork til frothy. Dip slightly stale bread(leave it out a while)into egg mixture momentarily; coating each side..place in a medium high skillet..IF you use real butter at a high temp it WILL burn but it does taste better than anything else...so if you mix the butter with some vegetable oil you will get the butter taste and get a higher cooking temp...brown on each side...enjoy...

You don't need all of that other stuff all you need is....

Milk, eggs, bread, butter and cinnamon.

Mix eggs and milk in a bow, add cinnamon to your mixture if you want more than what's on the bread, get a pan started on med and melt the butter. Dip your bread in the mixture flipping it once and put on the pan and cook....

very good and simple...enjoy

Why not just beat some eggs in a bowl, add a little bit of cinnamon, a drop of vanilla extract, and dip the bread into the mix and grill it.

You don't need any fancy recipes.
