I have candle jars, candles, shampoos, shampoo bottles, shipping boxes, clear bags (packaging) of various sizes, wicks, baskets, 1/8 amber bottles with lids, misc. So far I have tried garage sales, craft shows, penny saver. These items are sitting in my garage and basement. I need to liquidate within the next week or so.

I would donate them to a charity and take the tax write off! The amount of energy involved in selling these things isn't worth what you'll get back!

I would also suggest (as stated above) that you try craigslist or ebay... especially if you have lots of them. It sounds like you have some great things that people planning weddings could use for DIY projects... I would advertise to those that are DIY savy!

Good luck!

Take them to the flea market on a outside stand or place them on e-bay.
