I have looked at your home page. Good attempt if it's your starting site . =)

It definately could be improved. My comments below is focus more on the design aspect. Of course you could produce better pages when you learnt about stuffs like xhtml,css, infomation architecture.etc

Some of obvious bad ones are :

- Make sure your text colour suit your background or vice versa. It not nice to see pink text with a background of shiny stars.

- Pretty Effects become annoying when you over do it. You had a lot of things like the animated shiny stars background, & many other gifs like animated shiny frog,shiny human.etc. You need to made your content & pictures stand out from the background more.

- The content of your site are all on 1 page scrolling from top to the bottom. It would be better for you to had split them to multiple pages & add a menubar to link to them ( Global navigation ) & so the content will be better organised. Your pictures as I observed are all dumped at the same folder with the very same page that displayed.

Basically for starters just learn how to organise your materials & put them in different folders( simple example would be images in a folder. Different pages could go to different folders depending on their category). They will make your life easier when your site get bigger as it is more organised.
