If you have an excess of facial hair, your body may be producing an abundance of male hormones. You should ask your doctor about this as there is treatment. There is a birth control pill called Diane 35 and while it may have other unwanted side effects that you should talk to your doctor about (you may not be suitable for it), I believe it counteracts androgens (male hormones) and can reduce unwanted facial hair on women.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Electrolysis. Have your dr give you a prescription for a numbing cream. You apply it half an hour before the electrolysis. If you wax it or tweeze it before the electrolysis, it bends the shaft and it has to be done more than once for each hair. I had my daughter's eye brows done by electrolysis before she ever tweezed them and we got the numbing cream. I did my eyebrows years earlier but after having had them waxed and tweezed and without numbing cream. Do it the way I had my daughter's done.

I pluck my chin hairs and the few hairs I have on my neck but wax my upper lip and eyebrows.

you will get some tweezers and p.c.. each and each hair, finding on how plenty it rather is. It hurts until eventually you get use to it. Takes longer for the hair to advance lower back, and it does not pass away a mark.
