If it's severe you may have sleep apnea. You should talk to your doctor and he/she may order you to have a sleep study done.

1 out of every three people have a degree of sleep apnea. You're not supposed to snore. The problem is when you stop breathing. It increases blood pressure while you sleep and makes you fall asleep at the wheel.

There are 2 methods of correcting this an operation or a c or b pap machine that forces air into your nostrils while you sleep.

Request a sleep study to determine how many times an hour you wake up or your rem is disturbed.

You will not be aware when you are not sleeping.
