When it comes to losing weight it isn't so much what you eat, it's how much. Granted if you do the atkins you can lose weight but be advised dieticians do not favor this diet at all for good reasons, if that is the diet you are on it will of course give you bad breath because of the keytones your body will produce.

If you have a real problem not related to how much you eat, you need to go to the doctor and get your thyroid checked.

Other than that, eat a balanced diet with whole graines (at least 2.5mg fiber), fruits, vegetables, and skim milk. You may eat anything, but if you eat quality foods your health will be much better and you will feel better.

Eat small portions (200 calories more or less) several times a day, and only eat when it really hurts, not when you feel hunger or the urge to eat. It's ok to be hungry. Just be wise about when and when not to eat and don't ever abuse food or the lack of it in a way that will harm yourself.

Calories must be limited to 1000-1500 per day. A normal person at 1000 calories a day should expect to lose 3lbs per week. You can not lose weight no matter what you eat, no matter how healthy it is, if you exceed the ammount of calories your body burns in a day. Most people on average burn about 2000 calories per day. (Subject to wild fluctuation depending on activity, metabolism, etc.

Pills will not help. If you drink coffee or tea, do not stop, just don't fill it up with sugar. Any pill that claims it will help you lose weight is a farce.

Related to your teeth, bad breath can be caused by not flossing, and/or not brushing the tounge. Any white on the tounge must be brushed off. You can leave the stuff at the very back of the tounge, if you try to remove it you will gag.

Also, check for any gaps in the gumline using a dental pick and dental mirror (you can buy them at the supermarket now, yay!) Also pick off any excess plaque in that area in the front under your toungue.

Avoid all diet colas and nutra sweet. They fool your body into thinking it's had something sweet and the end result is you get even hungrier. Avoid regular cola as well, it confuses your body because of the "sugar" that is used, so that it makes you eat more than you would otherwise.

Count everything. If you can't count it, don't eat it!

I lost 40lbs using this diet... when you are done losing weight bring your calories back up to 2000 per day, keep counting, and you won't gain back the weight. Staying your ideal is a lifestyle, not a one time diet.

Diets are bad. They don't work and lead to putting on more weight once you crack under the pressure of never eating when you want to.

What you need to do is eat correctly. That means eating often so there are no gaps where you crave food but make sure the food you do eat is good food and not crap like biscuits, crisps soft drinks etc.

Bad breath if connected to the diet and not some other medical problem is a symptom of an imbalance in your diet. Whatever you are eating is leaving out something you should be eating. The Atkins diet was said to have a bad breath side effect.

Regardless of all that, to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you taken on. Do more physical activity, it's simple. If you don't do any physical training, when you lose weight all that is left is equally unattractive skin and bones. Upside of exercise is health and the capacity to eat more without getting fat =D

Hi
Along with a good diet you need a good work out plan.Try this plan for sometime it sure worked for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Good luck

My suggestion would be to try a different method of losing weight. One diet (despite the hype) does not fit all. Find one that works for you. Alternatively, worry less about your diet and more about your physical activities.
I have heard those on the Atkins diet can have a side-effect of bad breath and/or irritability. Others may have similar effects perhaps?

Your concern is which you're a variety a million DM occurring a low-carbohydrate eating recurring. that's a severe protection concern except you already know what the hell you're doing via fact which you opt for insulin or you will bypass into DKA. there is likewise the potential of going hypo in case you miscalculate carbs : insulin. The severe BG would be led to by ability of you eating too little carbohydrate and injecting too lots insulin. You bypass low, your liver kicks into overdrive, pushes out glucose till the cows come residing house. via fact which you're type a million DM, there is not any insulin different than the insulin you inject (what's your recurring, besides?). the different danger is which you had a modern-day nutritional replace and you haven't got any thought what the hell you're doing with regard to foodstuff - i.e. you think of a undeniable foodstuff is low carb besides the shown fact that it fairly is not any longer. I see this each and all of the time with differences in eating recurring. the reality you think of a low-carbohydrate eating recurring is rapidly healthful is a crimson flag. The healthiest of diets are plant-based, and this consists of a honest volume of carbohydrate - yet from entire grains, legumes, and constrained quantities in culmination. i could propose discussing your nutritional attitude with a CDE, ideally a RD/CDE.

Forget the diet & just eat sensibly & do plenty of fat burning excersises. Diets are so bad for you & unless you plan to stay on the same diet for life, you will enevitably put it all back on & then some.
Eat good & excercise plenty & you will definately lose the weight, feel better & have more energy.

I'm afraid you have to exercise while on a diet. your body is only getting used to what you feed it. make sure your diet is nutritious. Here's a diet i did recently. It's yoga based. This diet is good because you eat 6 times a day so your stomach is rarely empty. Day one is a detox. you drink iron rich molasses in warm water and lemon. Eating Parsley and washing your teeth every time you eat is a must. If you want more info contact me.

It's normal to have bad breath, everyone has it. All you need to do is brush your teeth 3 times a day at the least.
In the morning, after breakfast.
In the afternoon, after lunch.
And Before bed.
Oh, and also if you've eatin something with onions or garlic, you REALLY should brush your teeth. I've learned that from experience.
