Or not? Does it at least create questions?

The video is about four minutes long and is from Hardball. I normally don't pay attention to hardball, being as Chris Mathers sometimes goes overboard on the left (like O'Reilly does for the right).

But the points are valid I think and, thankfully, Chris is only in the beginning. My interest is the video portion where Cheney on 9/16/01 said there is NO evidence to link Saddam and Al-Qaeda. One could argue it was found later, but most accept the idea that it was always there.

The other interesting bit is where Cheney says he never suggested Atta went to Prague, but there is - again - footage of him saying the opposite before.

Thoughts? Comments?

Well, I got a thumbs down without an answer...or is that answer enough - in and of itself?

Thanks to you guys who watched the video - but please don't fling names around at the conservatives. Or anybody. Don't generalize andy group.

I, for one, am a conservative libertarian. I don't always agree 100% with the platforms but they best fit my needs. We don't need anymore polarization. Agree to disagree and try to find a middle ground.

It's info like this that made the rest of the world back off on the war in Iraq. Just about all the 9/11 terrorists were , like Bin Laden, Saudis. As you are probably aware on 9/13 2 planes were allowed to leave the US. A commercial jet and a private jet, taking the members of the Saudi Arabian Royal family and all members of the Bin Laden family back to Saudi Arabia. Not one was every questioned by the FBI orCIA. Politics and oil make strange bedfellows.

Hey DEP both political parties stood together after 9/11 and when declaring war against terrorist!!! Remember you said no mudslinging and I will honor that! But Chris "no b*lls" Matthews is left leaning in his views. I could make the same argument about all of the damnocrats supporting the war and invading iraq but that would lead to constant squabbling! Until both parties admit their mistakes will the USA come out on top. But don't look for that to happen anytime soon. Both sides lie while our men and women die.. It is time for somebody to step up. I am a Conservative and your are not. But hell that doesn't mean we can't all get along!!!

It is an amazing piece of video, thanks for posting the link. Yes, it exposes the lies. What I would like to know is why the lies, what was the real motivation for the war, was it simply to steal Iraq's oil, or Mr. Bush's personal hatred of Saddam Hussein. In any event, as that video shows, the US has turned Iraq from a country that suppressed Al Qaeda into one where it can, will, and does flourish. Starting that war was a historic blunder that people will read about hundreds, maybe thousands of years from now. Can the US come back from it? Maybe, maybe not. Congratulations to the Republicans, great war, we really appreciate it.

It looks like EDDie wanted to miss the point that the youtube video was originally on MSNBC, a Republican network!!!

Great piece. And, clearly EDDie didn't bother to watch the video, or he would he seen that the most damning evidence was video of Cheney's own words, and Cheney's subsequent denial of ever saying those words....Oops.

Matthews overboard on the Left? How so?

O'Reilly "sometimes" overboard on the Right? Yikes!

And yes,Iraq is a lie of "liberation" and that helps expose it nicely.

You can't argue with conservatives. Just goes to show that they do the same thing that they accussed John Kerry of doing. And that's flip-flopping.
