Freddy Kruegar.

This is my era here. Growing up and being privvy to the actual showings of all the Nightmare on Elms St. as a young to middle teen was awesome. Those memories cannot be replaced by cheesy knock off horror films, or the crappy
"I Know You Screamed" genre that's out now.

Freddy was the ultimate. He tormented you in your dreams. IN YOUR DREAMS...NICE.

In "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" the villian was nonexistent. It was their own paranoia from doing way too many drugs over the weekend. They were afraid of everyone and everything, but nobody realized they were on drugs and acting crazy behind closed doors. Everything was in their minds.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal/Red Dragon. Who could forget his wicked charm, scary persona & ultra intelligence. Anthony Hopkins played a brilliant psycho and totally unforgettable. "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti."
