I do! I mean your not going to use them after you are dead! And it could save a life, and in theory part of you would live on! Also it is selfish I think to be buried with so many organs, that could save someone else’s life don't you?

So why are so many people against it? I know lots of people who are. But why?

Absolutely!!! You save lives by donating your organs. I've made a stipulation that my organs go to the ones who need them, NOT the David Crosby's of the world. If you need a liver transplant because of your drug and drinking abuse, to bad, so sad. You are NOT getting MY liver.

Give the GIFT of LIFE. DONATE your organs!

Once I pass on,if I could save just one more life by donating a phy part of me ....I can't explain how I feel just trying to explain.I know my family would be proud of my requests, and I'm sure the person or persons and thier love ones would be thankfull to God for allowing life to go on for someone in need.

VERY much so! If it weren't for organ donation, my husband would not be alive today!

My husband knows that if I die, my parts are to be harvested to help others.

Thank you to all those who have lost their lives to give others theirs.

BTW...my husband had a LIVE donor, not a cadaveric donor.
So, somone sacrificed a part of them while they were living their own life so my husband could live. They also lost weight by donating the organ!

i do agree with you... i think organ donation is especially touching when the organs save the life of a new mother or a small child. i love hearing those wonderful stories!

I am full favour of it I vote with my 2 hands upo! My Living will says that if I have to go under unfortunate circumstances then before pulling the plug the Doc should remove my heart, liver, lungs, kidneys and eyes and put some cotton ball instead and sew me up!

I don't know anything anymore. I just asked a similar question and geez people are selfish. I chose to donate. I also choose to vote, and give to charities. It's amazing how many people don't do these things!!

I am totally in favor of it! My daughter and I have our drivers licenses marked saying we are organ donors. Everyone should unless you have some type of diesease, then I don't think they allow you.

yes...i'm either going to give my body to science so they can use it to find cures for diseases....i really support using you're body for science because why would you let it rot in the ground when you could be saving lives.

It's a violation of my body as are autopsies. I have to live with that thought while I am alive. I want to be cremated. From ashes to ashes; to dust to dust.
