Watch the popular documentary "Super Size Me".
Morgan Spurlock decided to see what would happen if he only ate at Mc Donalds for 3 months...Aside from the fact that he became terribly unhealthy in an alarming amount of time, he also reported having feelings of addiction to the food to the point where when he thought about it (this is kinda gross) he would have feelings very similar to sexual feelings (down there).
Maybe you are addicted for some reason to McDonalds. Do you live somewhere where it is very easy for you to get it or smell it?
If watch this documentary I bet you will not be as interested in having McDonalds anymore. Oh, and it isn't a boring school type documentary, it is almost like watching a reality tv program.
Good luck!

I sympathize with you because I have the same problem. I am an out of controll compulsive overeater. Fast food outlets are a real joy, I don't have a favorite. I know it is not healthy, but right now , I am not able to help myself. It is a very common disease that is not readily accepted.

it's common and it is simply a bad habit.
you can break it like you break any bad habit - take control. find something else to do.
you could get a bottle of the hollywood diet and use it for 48 hours. you'll lose 5 pounds or so, but the best part is, it breaks your apetite down to almost nothing.

Maybe you are in some kind of depression...Food is the way not to think about your problems.Or maybe you are feeling insecure in some way...Food gives you a feeling of security.
Or if you eat much more than you can bear, especially if you vomit after eating, then you have a depressive disorder called bulimia.

why is the thought of food always in my head???
Reasons like-
you're brain is asking for those comfort foods when you're depre..
you're body needs a certain amount of nutrient..
you are growing up..
you want to gain some weight..
.... .........
how common is this in people? very common.
whatever your reason may be, balance your food intakes making sure you are getting the proper nutrition your body craves.

Food is comfort. Plus we are bombarded constantly with commercials putting it in our heads too. It is common.

Whenever you eat it releases a hormone that makes you happy. Some people have higher levels of that hormone or/and they have a higher response to those hormones.
