Hi! Alexandra again. I work as a wedding photographer and have seen my share of brides and grooms who faint at the alter. For some ODD reason, that got me thinking of TV/Movies and fainting. Anyone have a particular fainting scene from a movie OR TV show that they remember, found, funny, dramatic, or that stands out?! lol, take care all-thanks.

Lucille Ball..every time she got worried about Ricky being mad at her!! LOL!!
My father was a Congregational minister for 30+ years; he & I have joked about writing a book about the wedding "fainters, criers, crashers", etc. that we've seen!! (Not to mention the bloopers that have come out of some of their mouths! LOL!!!)

Maybe we should collaborate w/ you!
HAHAHAHA!
Great question!

The old black-and-white Addams Family show had a character, Morticia's sister Ophelia, who had daisies in her hair and fainted a lot. I think her name was Ophelia Frump. Carolyn Jones played both Morticia and Ophelia.

Ophelia's fainting scenes were good. They always kept smelling salts nearby for her.

"Cinderella Man" when ole James Braddock was picked to fight the number two contender simply because they couldn't find anyone else. Braddock wasn't expected to make it through the first round. After a long absence from boxing, he finds his step again in the ring. After wailing away on "Corn Griffin" in the third round, the bell sounds. Braddock (Russel Crowe) turns to walk back to his corner when he here's a loud thud on the mat behind him. He turns, looks and sees his opponent "out cold." The expression when he turns back around and looks at his manager is like, "Holey Crap, did I just do that."... Priceless.
