Good Luck! Bearshare writes to your registry values just as a virus does. Each time your system reboots it rewrites itself to your drive. To remove it completly you must idetify and remove the regisry values that were added. Go to symantec.com and scan your system for spyware and adware, this will identify the line items.

windows defender..forget all the above rubbish .you will be stuck with them also.run win.def.it takes about 1 hour but worth it..I had winfixer for 5 months tried every thing ..then used windows defender best of luck

i use to have the same problem! i recommend trying this : click on start - search - all files and folders - type bearshare. or try using window live one care, it free!
