Here's an excellent recipe so you can get your chocolate fix AND cut back on the sugar intake. I didn't believe it until I tried it. They're brownies and they taste amazing.
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cocoa
2 cups Splenda
1 cup low fat margarin
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract

mix it all together and bake at 350 for about 25 minutes, check on it after fifteen...some ovens are different from others. I've actually lost weight because of this! As for walking, as long as you elevate your heart rate you'll burn those carbs and boost your metabolism. So you could clean house and still do this. You can rearrange the living room. Take the kids (or dogs) to the park and just keep up with them.

I've been overweight most of my life, and have finally gotten to a weight that I feel good about, even though I'm no where close to what the doctor says is my IDEAL weight. Good luck to you!

Yo dude. My grandma's overweight and she likes sweets too. She eats those sugar free chocolates and whatever. I've tried a couple, they taste pretty dang good ! But beware: eat too many of those and you'll get diarrhea. They can work like laxatives in a certain perspective, but that would suck to get that from candy.

Ok so that doesn't answer the walking issue. Try calling up some friends (ones who are active) and walking around. After a while you won't notice how tired you are because you're out with people you enjoy being with.

It depends on how much you are eating and what the fat/calories you are taking in. If you are doing aerobic walking vs. just regular walking it also makes a difference. If you are overweight, you may want to consult your physician and come up with an exercise plan. Don't say you can't do something. You can do anything. Just cutting back is a huge step. I miss chocolate ... I have severe migraines and it is a huge trigger. Good luck.

Eating a sugar starts a cycle in our bodies:

- we eat sugar
- our bodies react to it and produce something to cancel out the sugar
- too much sugar gets cancelled and we feel unwell
- so we crave more sugar
- the cycle repeats

Exercise is good for everyone, not just people trying to compensate for their bad eating habits. You would have to exercise an awful amount to compensate for your binging.

It is not as simple as exercising so you can still pig out. If that were the case, people would be drinking milkshakes as they walk the treadmill.

Just like any addiction, cope with the cravings for the first few days. Your body will reach a balance and the cravings will reduce. You will still want chocolate because it is so tasty but you will not have the same intensity of craving. Eating chocolate again will increase the cravings. Try not buying it and only have it as a dessert if you go out with friends. Create some rules for yourself to become more moderate in your eating. Implement will power. Smokers do it, alcoholics do it, junkies do it.

first thing first. Ditch the full-fat chocolate try milky way. Exercise at least 1 hour a day. You need to use more calories than you are eating to loose any weight I don't know you weight/height so i'll have to guess.

Woman 5ft 2 11 stone
she only needs to eat 1200calories a day to loose weight
so she needs to exercise more than 1200 calories a day.

eat lots of fruit and veg and water hopefully this will sort your hunger out. Then eat 3 main meals consisting of no more than your calories intake check with your doctor. Remember to make it fun your not going to loose weight overnight it's going to take time lots of time
Treat yourself when you loose maybe 6 pounds like a new top. Motivation is the key Good luck

You can go to www.sparkpeople.com and register there for free and you can put in what exercise you do and for how long you did it and then put your weight and you will get the amount of calories burned. I know how you feel as i am overweight myself and just recently started cutting calories and working out but you really need to try to control the chocolate and sweets that you eat or you may end up with diabetes or something worse. You have to really put your willpower to work and limit your amount of chocolate. I hope this helps and i wish you the best of luck with your weight loss.

If you have access to a gym, try a treadmill or elliptical trainer. Just set it on a speed where you are comfortable. These machines will show you how many calories you burn. Compare that number to the number of calories on the chocolate candy bar wrappers. Believe me, you will think twice about eating them once you know how long it takes you to burn them off. If I remember right, doing about 30-45 minutes on the elliptical trainer burns about 300 calories, and running a mile burned about 100 calories - that was for me though, it could be different for you.

There is nothing wrong with loving chocolate. Chocolate is one of the better things in life. Thing is, dear, you need to gear the rest of your life in a different direction. Eat a healthy diet of fruits and veggies and just a little pasta or bread. Walk. Dance. Enjoy life as it comes. The happier you are, the less you will need chocolate. You will be as beautiful as you can be. But chocolate will always be your comfort in times of trouble.
