Can we recognize different kinds of Muslims from each other? Shiete, Sonni, Vahabbi, extremist, Moderate?

Even muslim terorist groups are different, they are not united, muslims has also different kinds, Shiete, Sonni, vahabbi, etc. and also have different approches through their religion, extremist, moderate, secular, non-religious, etc. and also have different political views, ani western, conservative, leftist, progressive etc.
If we consider all of them the same and we blame them all for actions of a group of them, then we have to fight to 1000000000 people not 10000 or more and less. Why we don't recognize them?

Well I think that most people don't understand the term Muslim is a general term that refers to all followers of Islam. They don't understand that although all of these followers would consider themselves Muslims that they can have different beliefs and viewpoints based on their interpretations of the Quran.

I think a good way of comparing this difference would be in looking at a different type of affiliations in which Christians go by. Although many people consider themselves Christians they are often divided in their viewpoints based on denominations. Just as you have differences in the Muslim world you also have differences in the Christian world. For example, Christians are divided in their preference of worship based on whether they are Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptists, Lutheran, Mormon, etc. However all of these people would still consider themselves and be considered as Christian.

Just as there are Muslim extremists, there have been several Christian groups which have broken off into fanatical sects. These groups have been dealt with accordingly and any criminal behavior has not been tolerated. People must understand that just as we cannot condemn the entire Christian religion because of the skewed believes of a few, we must not do this to all believers of Islam as well.
