A police officer may arrest anyone, regardless if they are an adult or minor at anytime of day, weekends and holidays. Now, if there is a crime caused by a juvenile they would be arrested and kept seperate from adults. (juveniles mbust be 14 yoa to be charged as an adult) The juvenile can be held in a jail for up to 6 hours before brought to a juvenile detention center. If the juvenile has a warrant it will be body only, meaning no bail and the juvenile must see a judge within 24 hours, Now if the juvenile is arrested on a Friday after midnight there won't be a judge until Monday, so a 36 hour rule applies. The police officer is required to explain the probable cause leading to the arrest of the juvenile. This is then read to the attorney for the county or city of the arrest. If there is probable cause to detain the juvenile, he/she will stay in custody until they are able to see a judge. This also applies to adults arrested Midnight on a Friday thorugh Midnight Sunday morning.

If you are asking about warrant arrests it's a bit different. Warrants can be nightcapped, meaning an arrest can be made anywhere at anytime including weekends and holidays. This means an officer can actually attempt to locate and arrest the individual. This is different that merely running into the wanted indivdual on a traffic stop for instant. You wonder why officers "harrass" criminals into the night? Where are you at in most cases after bar close? Most people are in bed at home not expecting the officer to show up and when they answer the door half asleep, ooopps, now you have to spend the rest of your night at the crowbar hotel. Sweet dreams sunshine!

At night after 10am?? whoa...you seem a bit off- track there. A police officer does not harass anyone and yes, they can arrest a man or a woman at anytime of the day. For your info, only those who went against the law will be arrested, and not necessarily a dreaded criminal.

If there is sufficient cause for a police office to stop someone, then the individual is either acting in a suspicious manner or the officer has sufficient cause. If I were a police officer and I drive by and see you walking down a street at 2 am, I might be alerted....and I would drive past, but I would return to check your behavior. If you continued in the same direction, I would leave you alone but if you tried to avoid my headlights or ducked down an alley or disappeared, I would have every reason to suspect you. Arrest would depend on you and how you acted.

I expect a police officer to arrest a criminal anytime, day, or place. That is why I work and pay taxes.... For the security! To answer YOUR question...."the correct infomation or not enough info was given and your days and nights are possibly off." In a criminal case the "guilty" made of been released do to incorrect evidence....

They can make an arrest anytime they need to. Just because you break the law and get caught does not automatically mean the police are harassing you. They are simply doing their job just like everyone else. Blame yourself for your own mistakes.

10 AM is in the morning. Not at night. So it would be impossible to arrest someone at night after 10 AM

If the man/woman is doing something illegal, then the police can arrest them at ANY time.

Your question doesn't make sense.
