IT always seems the conservatives complain about the aclu and if thats so what kind of nation do they really want .ONE with no rights at all except to work to enrich the pockets of corporations .
IT bothers me that conservatives want there cake and eat it to making the rest of us provide all the cake .
WE are served best by the aclu who reminds the conservatives we are free men and not the property of them .
SLAVERY ended but it seems that slave wages are the reward of todays owners, forcing americans to live off less each year as there wallets grow fat and there home's so large that they must have help to maintaine them .MOSTLY illegal mexicans to do yard work and cleaning .THATS why bush will not put up a border defense system .

You mean like to ACLU suing the legal phone taps of purported terrorist to keep us all safe. Yea I'm glad that the ACLU is on the side of terrorists during a time of war. For God's sake we don't want to know what potential terrorists are planning and talking about. It is much better to be surprised by terrorists rather than have a idea of what they are doing. Wasn't 911 a big surprise for you?
That being said if the President and administration was tracking and eavesdropping on citizens conversations and other freedoms during a peaceful time - I would be 100% behind them. This is time of war and certain freedoms may have to be suspended until peace can prevail.

The ACLU seems only interested in Legal/Illegal, but seems to have no care or comprehension of Ethical/unethical. The two are not always the same. If it were a law for all citizens to hang themselves, the ACLU would sue all of us not dumb enough to do it.

Nine times out of ten I disagree with the ACLU. But every now and then they show that the adage "a stopped clock is right twice a day" still holds meaning.
We'd be better off without them, but every now and then they actually protect the Constitution rather than desecrate it.

The ACLU is controlled by those who want to destroy the America we know. 99.9% of the cases they get involved in they are on the wrong side of the issue. Since you hate corporations so much, swear to me that you own or use NOTHING that in any way owes it's existence to a corporation. OOPS you're using a computer and the internet, two things that WOULD NOT EXIST without corporations... If you hate corporations so much, WHY DO YOU SUPPORT THEM?

Actually, the ACLU is making millions of dollars taking away our freedoms. They are the slave-holders.
It is the ACLU and their support of terrorists that is harming us.
Maybe you should get a job and give the ACLU your money.

Ah. I interpret you to mean that the ACLU position is that the 13th Amendment requires the minimum wage to be raised. I take it that means that the courts will have to make such a ruling. Am I right?

The aclu actually had a couple of good cases, now they are just a joke it seems. A lot of their lawsuits are completely ridiculous.

i'm sorry but i think your question came out wrong, didn't you mean, "HOW many of you support the A.C.L.U. and applaud its efforts to protect terrorists and communists who would harm US?"
because the ACLU is the biggest homegrown insurgency we have.
