I don't know, but I've heard that suicide bombers are promised virgins and rivers of wine. Seems silly doesn't it? How could things from this world compose heaven? I'd be awfully dissapointed if Heaven was just sex and alcohol people have that here.

I have tried to research this and have not found it anywhere. The best I have been able to tell is Islam is a peaceful loving religion. The hey dude lets strap a bomb to our @ss and go blow up Americans and we get 72 virgins only started in the last 15 plus or min a couple of years.
There is no where in the Islam religion where it says to kill anyone. It does say to fight your enemy's into future generations. But does not say to attack peaceful people. It as well promotes peace by saying Alia (however you spell their gods name) prefers peace above all.
I am a non believer in any kind of religion and even I know these people are doing the same thing that is done here in America and changing the meanings to the way they want it to be to serve their wants. Happens in all religions some more then others. Remember Waco Texas. Do you think that God and the American bible toll them to do what they did? Or that other cult that said god sent a space ship behind a comet a few years back?
So no it does not say a thing about getting virgins. Who would they be anyway.. Nuns? That would be the only virgins that god would have setting around heaven anyway. And being rapped by a bunch of nut cases would not be heaven to them so it all sounds like a crock to me.

Come on, Many non-muslims have read the Quran, I have done so too. Its common sense, How can killing innocents live be rewarded by anything else but hell. It says nowhere in Holy Quran. I know its wrong what happened on 9/11 and all the terrorist attacks. I am a Muslim and I condemn them from my heart. But who are we to judge them. Imagine being in their shoes; dad arrested and put up in jail, mom killed in an airstrike, sister raped and murdered brothers headshoted, and u escape and left alone.
It can change every sane person to a deadly killing machine. U don't sit down and cry, wait for medical aid to arrive, instead u want revenge. I mean, they desperate, they are put in in such an environment that they have no other choice but to fight back.
And then, there are some radical muslim leaders who take advantage of this people and set them up take innocent lives.
It's a long story. It's like in war, you kill my people, I kill yours. Our goverments are sick bastards and we are suffering because of them.

Islam is a religion of peace.In Islam taking life of an innocent person is a major crime and one who do so will not enter Jannah(heaven). But a person who did Jehad (strived for truth in the way of Allah,it does not mean killing innocent people) will enter Jannah and get 72 virgins(about this I am not completely sure) and all the beauties which he did not had in the living world. The same is given in Hinduism in Bhagvad Gita 2:37 and 2:50.

As I are conscious of it .. there is in uncomplicated words one GOD, and the in uncomplicated words verifiable source of virgins going to heaven are CATHOLIC NUNS those Jihadis killing themselves for a advantages are going to get extremely a marvel ... there is no way in quran that will say that. islam prohibits fornication so how do u think that Allah will let adutary rule HIS HOME. these are things that people just bluff to make muslims feel bad. just like a few years back when people lied that muslims are muhammedeans.

I am a Christian....now with that said....I have read the Qur'an and No, there is nothing in there about the 72 virgins.
