SINCE I'M A LITTLE PARTIAL TO THE ROMERO FILMS , LIVING BY THE CEMETERY THAT WAS FILMED IN NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD , I'D SAY THE SLOW MOVING ONES .

I prefer movies involving the slow, Romero styles as they have a traditional and eerie feel. They should come off as non-frightening, but they're always in such huge groups the characters get overwhelmed. Overall, though, I find the fast 28 Days Later style to be scarier. Put bluntly, the scenario from Night of the Living Dead wouldn't be so scary if you've got a heavy, blunt object, but blunt object or not, you're screwed unless you're athletic with the other variety.

Yeah, put me down for the lumbering George Romero-esque zombies. It's kind of like those old MGM cartoons where the wolf is trying to run away from Droopy the Dog, y'know? He zips halfway around the freakin' planet, climbs up Mt. Everest, goes inside the cabin, locks the door, and swallows the key.
And there's Droopy, standing right behind him saying: "Hello, Joe."
The Romero zombies aren't quick or agile, but...there are just so MANY of them...and they just keep COMING...yikes.

Well, what do you think, a zombie that you can hit in the head with a baseball bat and then run away just to come and do it all over again, or the Olympic runner version? Brrrr.... definetely the last one....
