They most probably believe in the same God but just call him by a different name.

Yes correct if there is no God all religions are wrong.. But since there is a creation there is a creater.. Therefore a religion believing in a God is right.. So that leads you with hindu, muslim, christianity, judaism, or just theism. Judasim believes in the same God as christians only they don't believe in the Messiah being Jesus. Muslims believe in one God, and they believe that Jesus was only a prophet. Hindus have thousands of God, that are merley idols. Deist beleive in a God, but they don't know anything about him. Jesus proved Christianity to be the only true religion by fulfilling prophecy and resurrecitng from the dead. All prophecies written in the bible have either come to past, is currently, or will. Jesus promised there would be many false prophets at the end times, for satan comes to deceive the nations. If you truly desire to know which one is right, God promises that those seek shall find..

the way i see it, the pre- and post- bits of this go both ways. what i mean is... the possiblilities are not endless. its like probability.
option 1:
there is a god, but he is many and all religions are correct.
option2:
there are many gods, and so all religions are correct.
option3:
there is one god, and one religion has it right.
option4:
there is one god, but all religions have it wrong.
option5:
there is no god, and so all religion is pointless.
option6:
there is no god, so all religions are just about someones idea on how to live your life in the best way. as everybody differs about this, there are many religions, and each is right for some people and wrong for others.
this last one is closest to the truth i reckon, and also makes sense of all of the fighting.
i like to think that there is one god, and that he is me. and you are your god too. who else has total control over your world and actions ? and knows what is best? :D

Not really. Everyone is open to their own interpretation. People can believe what they want and that's how it should be. But through all the miracles and hard to believe things that happen - what do we believe in Luck? Is fate part of a higher power?...Are individualists scared to believe in being judged by their actions? etc. When it comes to religion there are no ight or wrong answers - we'll find out later right? That's why Religion is based on FAITH.

Do you believe there is something out there that is smarter than human beings? If there is no God, why does Karma exist?
Do you believe the Human mind is most powerful? Where does Good come from? If the Creation created itself, why does everything follow One law? Who owns this one law? Where did love and compassion come from? Why can't we leave the universe? I'm not saying that you should follow a particular religion, but to not believing in a higher intellect is simply vanity.

I think that everyone has the right to make his or her choices. I believe in God, but I don't believe in church. Too many conflicting doctrines. And I think that people tend to confuse religion with Christianity, or what ever other beliefs.
Anyone who states that there is no God is making a statement that they can't back up for lack of proof.

Why does one religion have to be right and the rest wrong? In my own opinion, all religions are right regardless of the persons beliefs. The bible actually says I'm going to hell becuase I'm not christian (I'm Wiccan). Wicca is much older than Christianity and we believe in more than one god and goddess. And there is no hell, no satan, no devil. There is no evil that in the religion. Those who are curious about the history you can do a little history lesson of your own.

Why do you think that is the greatest likelihood?
Perhaps all religions actually worship the same god, or portions of the same god.

They are *ALL* wrong... at least in some details. Many, if not most, have
something valuable to contribute...
Do not look for any organized relgion's doctrine to be entirely
self-consistant.
That's not what religion is for.
Religion offers spiritual guidance, gives you a sense of community
and a common sense of purpose.
None of the big religions are entirely free of inconsistancies.
