why does my ice pop taste sweeter liquid than frozen?

Actually the liquid that melts off first is the strongest. The flavoring always melts before the water part of it. So you get the flavoring first, then towards the end, its just ice/slush with a little flavoring left in it.

Because when it is frozen the taste buds on your tongue are very cold and are not able to respond as well.

'Cause the sugar and flavoring settles to the bottom...like mine did. Ughhh.
